One of a kind solid Balsa Step Deck, 9' 6 custom, hand shaped, finished, and signed by Donald Takayama, solid balsa with redwood stringers, glassed-on custom wood fin. Donald made very few balsa boards and this was custom made in the late 1990's. A true work of art, irreplaceable collector's item and wall hanger! Very few exist around the world, especially totally new! The Step Deck was one of Donald Takayama's original models 1960's models.

Step Deck allows for a lighter weight nose (thinner nose) to help lighten up for swing weight off the tail and while increasing nose rocker for steeper sections. Pulled in square tail with a RLB (rake style) fin for ultimate retro performance off the tail.
