5'4" Long x 23" Wide thickness varies due to the spooned out deck. No logos or signatures on this one. It was said to be made by George Greenough, but I do not think he made it due to its characteristics (bottom contour/stiff fin).Needs a few repairs to be watertight, but is otherwise display-ready and a real attention-getter. Made with a stingerless blank for extra flex. The line down the center is a glue line.
The deck has three layers of volan glass with the first layer spanning the entire deck, the second up two-thirds, and the last layer up about one-third. The glass on fin is in great shape and has a foiled plywood core and a resin/fiberglass "halo" which provides a great accent. This was made with a high level of detail and precision in the shape and glassing. It's too bad the shaper/glasser is not known. Comes with a custom canvas board bag (also vintage), which is not pictured.Make me an offer- I might just take it! Located in Santa Barbara, CA. Check out my other listing as I also have a vintage Windansea kneeboard from 1974 also listed.
