This is a twin fin made by Steve Lis in May, 1984 for a local San Diego native. This board was produced, then airbrushed before the final hot coat by Jack Magee- who also glassed this particular fish. As per the customers request, Magee airbrushed the fish scales and the gold fade to wrap the rails. The board was produced at M&M (Mansfield and Magee) Surfboards - which Magee and Mansfield operated out of their home garages in the Eighties. A great representation of Steve Liss talent and Magees work with airbrushing and glassing. This Gold Fish Design was the only one of its kind ever produced. This Gold Fish is also known as the Rocket Fish that Lis produced during that time. The board is a 6.6X20X3. The item "Steve Lis Gold Fish Vintage Twin Fin Surfboard 1984" is in sale since Wednesday, May 22, 2019.
