Makaha Surfboards 9' single-fin longboard from the mid-1960's. This surfboard represents a bit of Hawaiian Surf history. It was shaped by either Ben Aipa or Joe Kitchens at Surfboards Makaha on Kakaako Street most likely around 1964 or 1965. The board weighs approximately 40 pounds and pre-dates attachment points for a leash. The orange paint was added at some point and probably covers the shaper's signature.

Its in good condition and water-tight. It could be put into use or hung on the wall as surf art. It comes with a padded travel bag in excellent condition.
