Dale Velzy 9'5 Long Board Surfboard from the 1960's Vintage

  
I'm happy to be listing a very clean looking Vintage Dale Velzy. Board is likely a Velzy. In very nice condition for it's age - see photos. " Surfboards of Champions" on the deck. Glassed in Skeg / Fin.

As you can see from the photos, cosmetically the board is in very nice. The large, dark, irregular shape on the bottom of the board in photo #10 is the shadow of the photographer -The thin, right angle dark line is the. It seems Dale Velzy got in trouble with the IRS and couldn't produce boards under his own name for a few years so Velzy licensed his name to a popout company. 9' 5" length, 21 1/2" wide, 15 1/2" nose, 15 1/2" tail, 2 1/2 thickness.

The two shatters shown in the photo are repaired. All shatters are repaired except two. 1 on the rail near the nose that will need a dab of resin. Two pencil eraser size dots on the deck- see photos. Great fun to ride, paddle or display on the wall.
